Cystic Fibrosis is an inherited life-threatening genetic disease that affects the lungs, pancreas, and other organs.

This gene mutation affects the cells ability to attract water to the cell’s surface causing mucus in various organs to become thick and sticky. They then plug up tubes, ducts, and passageways.
